Oh Fudge!

Saturday night I attempted to make fudge for our Christmas program the following day. I was in the kitchen from like 8 to almost midnight making the stupid fudge (and delicious little cookies). Well I made chocolate walnut, peanut butter, and just plain old fudge with walnuts in it. I put them in the back room that we use as a pantry so they could set and Grandpa wouldn't come pick in them.
Well the following morning I went down there and they walnut and peanut butter ones were still really liquidy. So I thought maybe they'll set and if they don't I can put them in the freezer at the church. After they froze they were just like taffy though. Only with a fudge flavor. So we had spoon peanut butter fudge as my mother called it. I didn't even get the walnut out because it was still really really liquidy. But the chocolate was delicious. I think the chocolate set because of the chocolate chips in it. The chocolate must have helped it harden and the other two didn't have anything in it to help it harden.
So we're going to try to cook it down to see if that helps. And then we can feed it to all of our guests on Christmas Eve. Even if it is still liquid =D
So I just say OH FUDGE! to all of this. Me and my cousin, Hannah, decided that fudge is the reason why that is said. Because it takes so long to make and most of the time it doesn't turn out (unless you really know how to make it) so people just get angry at it and yell at the pot of fudge in front of them as they beat it with the spoon.
