After Day 11

So I did not make my 11 page goal today =( I got six pages. And it accounted to about 3000 words. I was pretty proud of my word count after the failed challenge. I tried! Other news. I discovered last year a program called Scrivener. I had not been able to try it because it was only for Macs. But finally this month it they came out with a Windows version. I downloaded a 30 day trial into my computer and I absolutely love it! And I haven't even found all of the fun little quirks I'm sure it's hiding =) But it helps me to view and organize my novel in a lovely way. I am very glad for this creation and I think I shall add it to my Christmas list =)

My novel continues to surprise me with the twists it decides to take. Just today I was introduced to a character that I had no prior knowledge of until she showed up on my paper. I think that is the thing I like most about NaNo. The unexpected turns that your characters try to take you in =)
