Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all!! We took the leap from 2009 to 2010! And it feels exactly the same. We had our traditional New Year Eve movie night. We watched Up for the little kiddies and The Proposal for our chick flick. We usually have a certain actor/actress but this year we didn't do our research before we went to the movie store. We were gonna do Sandra Bullock but we couldn't find a movie by her for all of the topics, which are cartoon, chick flick, scary, and action. So we got the chick flick and action for her. The Proposal was good. I really liked it and would watch it again. There were some parts that they really didn't need, but it was alright. The family then watched Taken which was our scary movie. I have no idea what it was about because I'm not a scary movie person. And we haven't watched Premonition yet. We watched the ball drop and drank the lovely sparkling apple cider that is sort of another tradition.

Today was not the best of days. I, in a way, lost my Barnes and Noble gift card. I ordered the books offline and then realized that one of the books was a graphic novel and I can't read those so I canceled the shipment. But before I did that I went to the B&N Starbucks and used the last little bit of money on my card and the guy threw it away. So the money from my book went back onto a card that I no longer have and I can't find the receipt for that card. It makes me sad and mad.

I'm looking forward to this month though. I turn 16 in 3 days, my cousin, Syd, turns 16 in 2 days, my cousin, Hannah, turns 16 in 10 days. And then Mariah turns 16 in February. On the 6th Hannah and I get to go bowling!! Woohoo!! And then the 27th Psych starts again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!! I can't wait!!

Well I must go watch Lost. Have a wonderful 2010!
